Katie Kell has always had a fondness for the creative side of life. She was born and raised in Hull, East Yorkshire then moved to a beautiful village in the countryside toward the east coast in her teenage years where she went on to study Art for her G.C.S.E's.

After high school, she had two children and enjoyed motherhood and all the creativeness that comes along with it, from messy play, to homework ideas to world book day outfits, she was in there up to her elbows in glue, glitter and paint, probably enjoying it much more than the kids!

When her children were starting high school and becoming independant she became a care assistant for Adults with Learning disabilities and was very happy in the rewarding role for six years, but her dream to pursue art and painting kept pulling at her and she eventually decided to leave the industry of caring to concentrate on her career as and artist.

So here she is now, enjoying life as an artist, taking inspiration from nature walks and the world around her to create whimsical paintings, each one having their own little twist.
