About Me

I'm Katie, a mother of two and part-time care assistant for adults with learning disabilities. Both of these things are very rewarding and fulfilling, yet humbling at the same time. I enjoy my job immensely, but wherever I am, there's always that little niggle at the back of my mind, calling me back to my corner of the living room to work with my paints.

I'm drawn to bright bold colours that surround you, uplifting your mood and make you feel good about the world around you. Because, if you just take the time to look, and I mean, really look, you see that the world is full of beautiful colour. This is why I love to paint the landscapes of the countryside I explore on my walks in the beautiful village I call home. I often take my camera out with me to take snippets of my adventures, so that later, those whisps of inspiration can flow onto the canvas.

And that is when the magic happens...
